I see a Birds Eye sample in documentation, but no code.
Also Bird Eye control does not seem to be present in the installation

Thanks for pointing this out. We have removed mentioning the sample from the documentation.
The sample and Birds Eye control are not part of release since v3.1.

There is a download link to the last working version. It is useful to clarify things.
We intend to add a Bird Eye view as a popup window similar to the full screen view in the next version. Hopefully a beta will be out soon.
