Virus threat

After downloading the 32-bit version of KernelCAD Developer 4.4 and virus scanning the .msi file a threat was detected (on ESP.exe).

I have reproduced and investigated this. It is a false positive. We have checked the file. It happens with Avast antivirus only as far as I know. When you see the message popped up please select list as a false positive in the popup. We have notified Avast

It definitely is a false positive as the file was given the all clear after scanning it with another anti-virus program, Malwarebytes.
