DInsight respects, and is committed to protect, your privacy.

This privacy policy explains why and when we collect your personal information, and what we use it for.

Why and when DInsight collects your information
  • Personal information you give us

    DInsight collects the information you give us, either online or by email or facsimile. In most cases, the personal information DInsight will collect from you is the personal information we require to identify you as our product user and provide you with required support. This information includes your full name, phone and facsimile number, email address, geographic location. We ask but do not require you to provide your mailing address. 

  • Credit Card information

    DInsight does not have access to your Credit Card information. Hence we cannot store or otherwise use it. When making a payment you will be transferred to secure gateway of e-commerce provider (www.paypal.com) of our bank. You will be making transaction directly with the bank. We (and you) will receive only confirmation of the transfer. Our merchant account is set up at  ANZ Bank. (www.anz.com).

     
  • Website information (including cookies)

    DInsight does not use cookies. 

     

How DInsight uses your information

  • Use of your information to license your products

    We will be contacting you  to advise you of all relevant information relating to your product license. This will be done only if you selected correspondent option on licensing page.

     
  • Other uses
    • DInsight may use your information to measure your experience of our products  and services and to inform you of new product developments and associated services that we believe will interest you. This will be done only if you have checked an appropriate check box in one of our online registration forms. To unsubscribe from this service send us a message with with a single line: "Unsubscribe". 
    • We may use your email communications with DInsight to analyse customer service issues as a way of identifying potential improvements for DInsight products and services.

Disclosure of your information to third parties

  • Third party service providers

    We may supply your personal information to our third party billing and payment service providers where we believe this is reasonably necessary to protect against fraud and credit card misuse. Where you have made a query in respect of a payment for a DInsight product which is made known to us by your bank or credit card company by communicating the query through our bank, we may supply the relevant personal information to assist you with your query. On occasion, we may also engage other companies or individuals to perform services on our behalf such as the distribution of marketing information to you (except where you have chosen to opt out of receiving this information from us).

    Our relationships with such third party service providers are governed by our contracts with them. Those service providers are required to hold your personal information strictly confidential.

Accuracy

If you believe that DInsight may hold other personal information about you which is inaccurate, please contact us by sending a message and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected.

Security

The transfer of information across any media may involve a certain degree of risk, and the Internet is no different. However, helping you to keep your information secure is very important to DInsight.

In order to protect the security of personal information transmitted to DInsight online, our Web servers support the use of the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol where appropriate. Using this protocol, information transferred between our systems is encrypted.
