I am interested is possible to open a wrl file located on a website? I tried to put modelpath like http://www.thesite/data/manifold12de.wrl but It does not work

Unfortunately it is not implemented. We have been thinking about it, but there always was and still is something more important. You are the first to ask for that. When somebody is willing to contribute to this feature we would be happy to implement. Otherwise we assume nobody really wants it that much.
On the other hand transmitting the model can be implemented inside an application. You are also welcome to implement a wrapper control around KernelCAD, which does that. We would be happy to assist.
