Hi
Silly question (1st time): how do I install MSM files ?
Thanks
Using .msm
Re: Using .msm
No worries, Claude
.msm is not supposed to be installed by itself. It is like a library. It is supposed to be consumed by other installers (like .msi). How
this happens depends on the installer creation software (like InstallShield) you are using. All Windows installer software has a way
to add a .msm. You need to check documentation for your software, or just Google. It should be very easy in few clicks.
The KCRedist*.zip contains two msms for Microsoft's dependencies and one for KC itself. the KC msm installs all required KC dlls and data and takes care of component registration
